2021 Chevrolet Colorado Shows Off a New Look

By Justin Cupler | October 15th, 2019

Since its arrival in 2015, the second-generation Chevy Colorado has remained mostly unchanged. Sure, it’s seen a few under-the-skin updates, but its looks have stayed. This changes with the 2021 Colorado, as this midsize pickup will get a refresh that not only updates its look but gives each trim level a distinct appearance.

The significant changes are up front where the Colorado will gain new grille center bars, lower fascias, and skid plates on the WT, LT, and Z71 trims. These updates will give each version of the truck its own look. Helping further distinguish the trims will be updated gold Chevy bow tie emblems on WT and LT trims, and black bow ties on the Z71.

For our Saginaw area shoppers looking to do some off-roading, the ZR2 has all the off-the-beaten-path equipment you need. The ZR2 will get its own set of distinguishing updates in 2021, including an exclusive flow-through “Chevrolet” grille and red front tow hooks. This is in addition to its already-standard 2-inch lift, 3.5-inch-wider track, multiple skid plates, and more.

All 2021 Chevy Colorado models will get a new embossed “Chevrolet” tailgate in place of the old bow tie tailgate emblem.

The 2021 Chevy Colorado will make its official debut on Oct. 10, 2019 at the Method Race Wheels Laughlin Desert Classic, so keep it locked here for updates.
