2019 Chevy Blazer Will Haul With the Best Of ‘Em

June 28th, 2018 by

Cargo and trailer hauling isn’t always top of mind when an automaker creates a new crossover. Fortunately, Chevy isn’t your normal automaker, and the 2019 Chevy Blazer will not be your typical crossover. Whether you need to haul luggage or tote a loaded-up trailer, the 2019 Blazer will do so with ease.

Flexible Cargo Space

The 2019 Chevy Blazer will boast seating for up to five, but if you don’t need the rear seats, you can fold them and open up to 64.2 cubic feet of cargo room. But if you need those rear seats and just a little more cargo room, the rear seats slide forward for some extra space.

The 2019 Blazer will also be the first-ever Chevy vehicle with a cargo-management system with a rail and cargo fence. The cargo fence slides forward and backward on the rails, keeping your cargo from sliding rearward while you drive. And, on each side of the cargo floor is a storage cubbie for smaller items.

No Hands, No Problem

Walking up to the 2019 Blazer with an armful of groceries or cargo can lead to you doing a balancing act while you try to free an arm to open the liftgate. With the 2019 Chevy Blazer’s hands-free liftgate, you can open the liftgate by swiping your foot under the rear bumper.

Big-Time Towing

With the 3.6-liter V-6, the 2019 Chevy Blazer will tow up to 4,500 pounds. So, no matter what you need to haul, you can feel confident this midsize crossover is up to the task.

Even Hitching Up Is Easy

One of the hardest parts of towing is hooking up the trailer, and you often need a second set of eyes to guide you into place. Well, that’s a thing of the past with 2019 Chevy Blazer’s Hitch Guidance and Hitch View systems.

Hitch Guidance, which is available with the 3.6-liter engine, shows a center line on the rearview camera to show where the hitch is. Hitch View works alongside the Hitch Guidance and shows a top-down view of the hitch so you can see when you have the Blazer’s hitch and the trailer aligned.

The 2019 Chevy Blazer and its hauling potential will hit the Garber Chevrolet showroom in early 2019. If you need a cargo-ready crossover now, check out our available inventory online today.
